Dr Tom Nehmy is an experienced clinical psychologist having worked across the corporate, government, school, and private sectors with child, adolescent and adult clients. He works with a wide variety of presenting issues including specialist interests in child behaviour management, childhood anxiety, selective mutism, chronic stress, perfectionism, wellbeing & resilience, transdiagnostic treatment approaches, and adult anxiety & depression.
Tom is a prolific public speaker and corporate trainer. More than 16,000 people have attended his workshops, training programs, invited addresses, and conference presentations nationally and internationally. He maintains an active interest in psychological research, especially preventing the onset of psychological problems. Tom has co-authored 10 scholarly articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. His PhD research was awarded the 2015 Flinders University Vice-Chancellor's Prize for Doctoral Thesis Excellence.
Tom is also an accredited training supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
